Oh I do love to hear Sally Barris sing. The first time I ever heard her, I fell in love with her song Let the Wind Chase You. I later found out that Trisha Yearwood covered the song. That Trisha. She has some damn fine taste in songs, I tell you. But, I really love to hear Sally sing it. She has not recorded it yet, but I found a video that I have included below.
Sally has managed to be successful in the mainstream world of country music without giving up her folk & Celtic roots. Her songs have been covered by Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Kellie Pickler, and Kathy Mattea.
